Abel has had other job opportunities come along during his 45 years at United, but he enjoys working with the company. So he stayed with it and started moving up. He has made a lot of relationships with the people he has worked with over the years. Occasionally, Abel sees people he has worked with in the past. They’re doing well in their new careers, Abel said, but they always remember where they got their start.
