PLANO, TX (Special) - United Supermarkets, LLC, announced today it will open two more Market Street stores in the Metroplex next year. Both 70,000 square-foot stores will be located in Plano.

The first is targeted for completion in spring 2009 and will serve as the anchor tenant for Preston Park. Located at the southwest quadrant of Preston Road and Park Blvd., Preston Park is a retail development of The Woodmont Co., based in Fort Worth.

The second store will be located on the last vacant corner at the intersection of Preston Road and State Highway 121 and will anchor the first phase of Village 121, a development of Lincoln Property Co. of Dallas. The 80-acre project will include a large shopping center plus housing, office space and a hotel. That Market Street store is scheduled for completion in the latter part of 2009.

These will be the sixth and seventh stores for United in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Stores already are open in Colleyville, McKinney and Allen, and others under construction in Frisco and Coppell are slated to open later this year.

Market Street is a world-class food concept store - a unique combination of hardto-find specialty items, gourmet delicacies, certified organic products and value-priced everyday groceries. The first store opened in Wichita Falls in 1998; other stores are located in Amarillo and Lubbock (two).

• A wide variety of great foods from several in-store restaurants available for dine-in or take-out, with seating to accommodate more than 125 people for instore dining.
