Frequently Asked Coupon Questions
- Do you offer store coupons? Where may I find them?
We offer coupons from time to time in our weekly ads, and other coupons are regularly available in our stores.
- May I use a store coupon and a manufacture coupon on one item?
Yes, a manufacturer coupon and a United Supermarkets coupon can be redeemed on one item, but any other type of coupon stacking is not allowed.
- Do you exclude any coupons? Ex: $5 off, BOGO offers, coupons for free product?
No, we accept all valid coupons.
- Do you accept internet printable coupons? May I print them in black and white.
We do accept “Internet” printable coupons that scan.
- Do you match competitor prices or take competitor coupons? If so, how would I go about requesting a matched price?
No, we don’t match competitor prices or accept competitor coupons.
- What is your policy on overage: when the value of the coupon exceeds the value of the product?
We are unable to give cash back if the face value of the coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.
- If the coupon exceeds the item’s value do you adjust the price of the coupon down? Ex: $1.00 off coupon on 97-cent product.
Yes, the coupon amount is reduced if it exceeds the value of the item.
- Do you limit the number of coupons I may use per transaction?
No, unless the coupon states otherwise.
- Do your Team Members understand “one coupon per purchase= one coupon per item”, not “one coupon per transaction”?
"One coupon per purchase": This means that shoppers can use one coupon per item, with the item considered to be the purchase. For example, if a shopper had 10 identical jars of spaghetti sauce and 10 grocery coupons for that spaghetti sauce, she could use all 10 coupons for her order, which is literally 10 purchases. She could not use 2 manufacturers coupons on the same item if she was only buying one jar of spaghetti sauce because that would be more than "one coupon per purchase."
- Does your store ever double or triple coupons?
No
- Concerning buy one get one offers. If your store runs a BOGO Free promo, may I use 2 manufacturer coupons for the two products? Or may I only use one?
Yes, you may use two manufacturer coupons on a BOGO free promo.
- Are individual stores allowed to impose their own rules or vary from this policy?
United Supermarkets, LLC reserves the right to accept or reject any coupon.
