Our Go Green for Good initiative is making some significant changes such as replacing the current lighting in all refrigerated cases to more energy efficient fluorescents, offering our guests an inexpensive reusable grocery bag and launching a company-wide Go Green Task Force to assist the community in its constant commitment to cleaner living. We are proud to be a part of the communities in which we serve.

With our storewide "Bring Your Own Bag" (BYOB) program, our guests can enjoy a more global way of living in their communities and in the environment. Go Green for Good.

In keeping with our Go Green for Good commitment to the environment, United Supermarkets and Market Street are proud to offer two convenient programs: recycling centers and reusable canvas bags. As a convenience to our guests, select United Supermarkets and Market Street stores are official recycling drop-off sites for their respective cities. Just drop your plastic grocery bags in the blue bin located near the front of any United Supermarkets, Market Street or Amigos United location.
