Market Street’s Family Fun Weekend Highlights
Coppell-Lewisville Store’s Grand Opening Celebration
COPPELL, TX - After opening its doors Wednesday, the Market Street Coppell-Lewisville store, located at 700 N. Denton Tap Road in Coppell, continues its grand opening celebration with Family Fun Weekend. Beginning Saturday, the two-day event will feature guest appearances by popular television characters, live music and prize giveaways, highlighting the arrival of the area’s newest neighborhood all-in-one grocery store.
Coppell-Lewisville is the third Market Street location to open in the Metroplex within the past year, bringing more than 1,200 job opportunities to the North Texas area. Market Street Plano, currently under construction at W. Park Blvd. and Preston Road, is tentatively scheduled to open in April 2009.
Saturday, Jan. 17, will include festivities such as a special appearance by Disney star and former North Texas teen actress Debby Ryan, who plays “Bailey Pickett” on The Suite Life on Deck. Ryan will greet fans and sign autographs from 2 to 4 p.m., while Radio Disney 620 AM broadcasts live from the store. In addition, Market Street will hand out free balloons and draw for numerous prizes including a Disney family vacation.
On Sunday, Nickelodeon’s Diego, presented by Time Warner Cable, will be on-hand to greet Market Street guests from 1 to 3 p.m. Also, the Victor Andrada Band will play live inside Peet’s Coffee Shop from 4 to 6 p.m.
