About Market Street

Market Street is a unique market that combines the everyday groceries store guests need with the specialty items, whole-health/gourmet products and pre-prepared foods they want. The first store opened in Wichita Falls in 1998, and other stores followed in Amarillo and Lubbock. Market Street now has five DFW stores located in Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Colleyville and Coppell-Lewisville.

Coppell-Lewisville is the third Market Street location to open in the Metroplex within the past year, bringing more than 1,200 new jobs to the North Texas area. Market Street Plano, currently under construction at W. Park Blvd. and Preston Road, is tentatively scheduled to open in early April.

Market Street is one of the three store formats operated by United Supermarkets, LLC, a Texas-based, family-owned grocery chain with stores in 29 markets across north and west Texas. Now in its 93rd year of operation, United is a self-distributing company with its headquarters and distribution center in Lubbock. United currently operates 49 stores under three distinct formats: United Supermarkets, Market Street and Amigos United.
