Market Street DFW Launches ‘Free to Feel Better’
Campaign, Providing Pharmacy Guests with Free
Prenatal Vitamins, Antibiotics
FRISCO, Texas - Market Street, United Supermarkets’ world-class food concept store, today launches its “Free to Feel Better” program in its Dallas-Fort Worth-area stores. As a complimentary service to its guests, Market Street’s pharmacy will fill prescriptions for prenatal vitamins and antibiotics free of charge. The program helps Market Street guests receive the prescription medicines they require to stay healthy without having to worry about cost. Market Street is the only North Texas grocer offering the complimentary program.
“With ‘Free to Feel Better,’ the United Supermarkets family and its DFW Market Street stores are proud to bring North Texans a new way to spend less and feel great,” said Tim Purser, business director of pharmacy for United Supermarkets, LLC. “In addition to our value-priced groceries, the ‘Free to Feel Better’ program highlights that Market Street’s Living Well ExpressCare clinics and pharmacies offer tremendous ways to stretch the dollar, too. It’s just another example of the value and service that guests have come to expect from their neighborhood Market Street store.”
To help expectant mothers and newborns get off to a strong start, the “Free to Feel Better” program covers a year’s worth of three of the most prescribed prenatal formulas - NataTab Rx, NatalCare Plus and Advanced NatalCare. After filling the guest’s prescription free the first time, Market Street will provide complimentary refills for 11 more months.
For guests with prescriptions for antibiotics, Market Street’s program covers 60 of the most prescribed generic antibiotics. With a valid prescription, Market Street guests can receive up to a 14-day supply of general oral antibiotics, including liquids, capsules and tablets. There’s no limit to the number of 14-day covered prescriptions guests can have filled free.
In addition, Market Street does not require guests to transfer other prescriptions over to its pharmacy to participate in the program.
“This program is a great opportunity for Market Street guests to experience all of the wonderful services our in-store Living Well ExpressCare clinics and pharmacies provide,” Purser said. “Our certified nurse practitioners, physicians’ assistants and pharmacists are eager to answer questions about vitamins, supplements, diabetic supplies and over-the-counter medications. They help fill prescriptions quickly and accurately while the guest shops. It’s another unique shopping and health care experience you won’t find anywhere else.”
Market Street is a unique market that combines the everyday groceries store guests need with the specialty items, whole-health/gourmet products and pre-prepared foods they want. The first store opened in Wichita Falls in 1998, and other stores followed in Amarillo and Lubbock. Market Street now has five DFW stores located in Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Colleyville and Coppell-Lewisville. Market Street Plano, currently under construction at W.
