Frisco Gets 'A Taste of Market Street' - a Mini-version of the
World-class Concept Food Store with Fuel Station
'Free Fuel' promotion has grocery guests saving big at the pump

FRISCO, Texas – Market Street Frisco has the perfect solution for those individuals-on-the-go. Located at the corner of the Market Street parking lot at 11999 Dallas Parkway, A Taste of Market Street - a mini-version of the world-class concept
food store designed for quick access and convenience - is a new haven for guests who are short on time but still want many of the luxuries of the main store, such as bakery items, gourmet meals to go and fresh produce. A Taste of Market Street opens Friday and is complete with fuel station and drive-thru accommodations for guests wanting the added
convenience of shopping while remaining inside their vehicles. The Frisco location marks the first Taste of Market Street in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and to celebrate, Market Street Frisco will be offering a "Free Fuel" promotion to its guests.

"United Supermarkets has used its imagination with our Dallas-Fort Worth area Market Street stores to bring the best shopping experience to our guests," said United Supermarkets CEO Dan Sanders. "We know it can be difficult for individuals to make trips to the grocery store. With our newest Frisco convenience, a Taste of Market Street guest can get a full tank of gas and stock up on groceries in about five minutes. A Taste of Market Street is a testament that we're thinking outside the box - and the store."

Frisco's newest gourmet grocery store, Market Street, is running a "Free Fuel" promotion from Sept. 5 through Nov. 1 for its guests. For every $25 a guest spends in the Frisco Market Street store, the guest will receive 10 cents off per gallon at A Taste of Market Street's fuel station. So, for Market Street guests spending $100 on this week's grocery list, they save 40 cents per gallon at the pump. For more information on the "Free Fuel" promotion, visit the Frisco store or MarketStreetFrisco.com.

"With high gas prices taking a toll on our pocketbooks, we wanted to give Market Street guests a little relief at the pump," Sanders said. "There's not a lot of ways you can put a smile on someone's face while they are paying anywhere from $50 to $100 to fill up the tank. At Market Street Frisco, we want that smile our guests received from inside the store to continue over to the fuel station at A Taste of Market Street."

Continuing its grand-opening celebration on Saturday, Market Street hosts "Back-to-School Bash" - a celebration for the Frisco community featuring Cajun swamp rock band L'Angelus. The event, which goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., will have BBQ Semi Grill serving complimentary hamburgers and hot dogs. The band will perform from 2:30 to 6 p.m., with Bill Mack emceeing the day's festivities.
