Market Street to Bring
350 Job Opportunities to Plano

PLANO, Texas - Market Street, United Supermarkets’ world-class food concept store, has opened the hiring process for its newest Dallas-Fort Worth-area location, bringing more than 350 job opportunities to North Texas. Market Street’s new Plano store, located at W. Park Blvd. and Preston Road, is scheduled to open
April 1.

Market Street Plano is the all-in-one grocer’s fourth DFW store to open in the past 14 months and sixth since 2003. The recent North Texas growth initiative has brought more than 1,600 new positions to the area.

In preparation for the new store opening Market Street will host a job fair Feb. 18 through March 6 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church’s Wesley Hall, 5801 W. PlanoPkwy, in Plano. Company officials will take applications and conducting interviews for all full- and part-time positions. The interview schedule is Monday-Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon.

The 70,000 square-foot Plano store boasts many convenient attributes that current Market Street guests love, including an in-store health care clinic, drive-thru pharmacy and Peet’s Coffee Shop.

The first Market Street store opened in Wichita Falls in 1998, and other stores followed in Amarillo and Lubbock. With its newest addition, Market Street now has six DFW stores located in Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Colleyville, Coppell-Lewisville and Plano.
