Market Street to Give Away $6,000 Worth of
Wedding Services
at This Weekend’s “We Do I Do’s” Expos
LUBBOCK – Market Street is continuing its tradition of entertaining guests while educating and allowing them to experience the high-quality, friendly services it offers by hosting free “We Do I Do’s” Expos this weekend at its 10 Market Street locations in north and west Texas.
With wedding bells ringing in their ears, expo attendees and store guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Market Street’s floral, cake and wedding catering services that help couples easily plan a fairytale happily-ever-after.
Additionally, one lucky couple at each expo will win a $600 wedding package that includes $200 in floral, $200 in bakery and $200 in catering services to help to ensure their big day will go off without a hitch.
Hours for the event are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, and Sunday, Feb. 27.
“We all know how stressful wedding planning can be, especially for couples who are doing it themselves without the help of a professional event planner,” said Wes Jackson, chief merchandising officer for United Supermarkets, LLC, Market Street’s parent company.
“At Market Street, we want to make things more convenient for our guests, our wedding expo helps us showcase all the helpful services that make us a match made in heaven for guests who are about to walk down the aisle.”
At the expos, guests can learn about Market Street floral, catering and additional wedding services as well as sample products such as:
- Market Street’s chilled salmon, seafood party platters and high-quality appetizers,
- Traditional French crudité platters with raw vegetables and house-made vinaigrette,
- Gourmet cheese and assorted tea sandwich trays,
- Stuffed mushrooms,
- Antipasto skewers,
- Freshly-baked artisan breads and baguettes from the Market Street bakery,
- Raspberry-filled wedding cake with white butter cream icing,
- Chocolate-covered strawberries served with champagne,
- And complimentary wine tastings presented by Market Street sommeliers.
During the wine tastings, Market Street’s beer and wine stewards will be on hand to answer questions about pairings and describe the featured wines including: LaMarca Prosecco, Mirassou Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Coppola Sofia Mini’s, Rosso and Claret, Friexenet Cordon Negro Brut and Extra Dry, Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut, and Folie a Deux Menage a Trois Red, Chardonnay and Rosé.
