United We Care

The Strength of Family is About to Get Stronger

Give To United We Care
...and be the difference in a team member's life.

You'll be quick to realize we're one family dedicated to our guests – and to each other. That's why when life's most challenging times strike, the United team works together to provide our family with help when it's needed most.

What Will It Do?

United We Care is a special emergency fund created to assist team members when unexpected serious events occur – such as sudden medical costs, accidents or traumatic events. When tragedy strikes, a board made up of team members decides the level of assistance someone may receive.

Why is United Doing This?

First of all, our team members asked for it. But more importantly, it's the right thing to do. United believes in taking care of people.

Welcome to the family,

How Can I Help?

When you voluntarily enroll in United We Care, you're donating one dollar per week out of your paycheck to our special team member assistance fund. That's only twenty pennies per day – an amount you will hardly miss but enough to make a huge difference in someone's life. The United family has started the fund with $50,000. With your contributions, we'll help ensure the fund is here for today and tomorrow.

How Do I Sign Up?

It's easy. To become an ongoing donor through payroll deduction, click the link below to download a pledge card. Give the card to your Store Director or return it to the Payroll Department at the Store Support Center.

If you would like to make a one-time donation, please make your check payable to "United We Care" and send your donation to:

United We Care Fund
7830 Orlando Avenue
Lubbock, TX 79423

Because United We Care is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, everything you contribute may be reported as a charitable donation.

With United We Care, you're making more than a small donation….. you're also making a huge difference, because good things happen when we all act together.

How Do I Apply?

To apply for assistance, you must be a team member with United Supermarkets, Market Street or Amigos United for at least six months. Team members with less than six months of service will not be considered for assistance.

Applications must be completed in full and submitted to the attention of United We Care Fund. If you have any questions regarding your application, please contact the United We Care Program Manager, at (806) 791-0220.
